In a speech on Thursday delivered before an audience mostly comprised of students at the Beijing International Studies University, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated that Hungarians are past masters of endurance and survival in Europe. The Prime Minister attended an unveiling ceremony for a plaque at the institution’s Hungarian Research Centre.
In September 2015, the volume of retail sales grew by 5.1 percent year-on-year, and thus the sector’s positive sales trend has been in place for the 28th consecutive month. In the initial nine months of the year, the volume of sales was up by 5.9 percent year-on-year. These growth figures exceed both the EU and the Euro-zone averages.

At the 8th session of the Forum on Minority Rights held on 24 November in Geneva, Deputy State Secretary for International Cooperation Ádám Zoltán Kovács said that when making use of the criminal justice system, special attention must be paid to the enforcement of the principles of equality before the law and non-discrimination, especially if someone is disriminated against on the basis of their nationality, religion, linguistic identity or because of belonging to a certain minority.
