Visegrád Group leaders have issued a declaration welcoming the objectives of the European Council – especially those concerning the migration crisis, the fight against terrorism, making negotiations between the EU and the UK a success, and energy union issues.

Thus, wages in real terms have been rising for the 34th straight month in Hungary. In addition, in comparison to October 2014, the number of private sector jobs was up by 55 thousand at enterprises with at least five employees.
In Brussels on Thursday, before the summit of EU Heads of State and Government, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that in principle Hungary is ready to support the establishment of a permanent EU border protection force. The details must be discussed, but the Government of Hungary agrees with the direction of the initiative, he added.
