The Operational Corps responsible for the containment of the coronavirus infection recommends that everyone should cancel events planned to commemorate the national holiday, the head of the Operational Corps duty centre stressed.
In the early evening of Tuesday, Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer and Hungarian Interior Minister Sándor Pintér conducted a telephone conversation about the measures implemented and planned to be implemented by the two countries in the interest of containing the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Ministry of Interior informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

At its meeting today, the Operational Corps responsible for the containment of the coronavirus infection decided that any patient care capacity available at the Szent László Hospital of the South Pest Central Hospital – National Institute for Haematology and Disease Control must be vacated with immediate effect, and patients currently in the hospital must be relocated to other health care providers.
In Hungary so far four foreign nationals have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection. These are individual cases, and the goal is to prevent the development of group cases, the head of the Operational Corps responsible for the containment of the coronavirus infection announced at a press conference held after the corps meeting on Friday in Budapest.
