The infringement procedure launched recently against Hungary is nothing other than revenge from Brussels, after Hungary made it clear that it will not redirect inclusion funds towards migration purposes.
In an interview published in Monday’s edition of Polish national daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita, Minister of Human Resources Zoltán Balog said that Hungary is not anti-refugee, but it does not want Brussels to decide who Hungarians should live together with. Brussels should let Hungarian citizens give their own answer to the question of whether this issue falls under the jurisdiction of the Hungarian parliament, he said. In the interview he also discussed the migration crisis.
Croatian Minister for Culture Zlatko Hasanbegović and Hungarian Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog signed a bilateral cultural agreement in Budapest on Monday. After the signing ceremony the Minister told journalists that Hungary has established good relations with the new Croatian government.
“The Government and the Hungarian Conference of Catholic Bishops (MKPK) will be providing 120 million and 85 million forints in funding, respectively, towards the education of children living as refugees in the Middle East”, Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog and MPKP Chairman, Bishop András Veres announced.
