According to the Minister of Human Capacities, illegal immigration is not an opportunity for Europe but a danger to Europe, and the experiment of multiculturalism represents a security and cultural risk that must not be undertaken.
“The Hungarian Government is launching a scholarship programme to support young people from persecuted Christian communities in the Middle East”, Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog announced on Friday in Berlin at the International Prayer Breakfast Conference, which was attended by high ranking politicians and religious leaders from over fifty countries.
The Hungarian Government will financing the pharmaceuticals requirements of St. Joseph’s Clinic Erbil, which is treating Iraqi Christians, for a period of six months. The 145 million forint (EUR 470,000) financing agreement was included on Monday in Budapest by Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog and Archbishop of Erbil Bashar Matti Warda.

The Government has decided on further measures which seek to help families and to promote an increase in child births, the Minister of Human Capacities announced on Saturday at the event of the German Business Club (DWC) in Budapest where he received the organisation’s German-Hungarian Friendship Award.
“The Government is providing three hundred million forints in funding to the member organisations of the Charity Council, to enable them to continue their activities on the border, beyond the border and in transit zones”, Minister of State for Churches, Minorities and Civil Affairs and Chairman of the Council Miklós Soltész told reporters.
At a press conference in Debrecen on Thursday, Minister of State for Education László Palkovics said that the higher education act will not have to be amended due to yesterday’s resolution of the European Parliament.
