Confirming reports by news portal Magyar Idők, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief Bertalan Havasi has told Hungarian news agency MTI that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will make his annual state of the nation address on 28 February at the Royal Castle Garden Bazaar in Budapest.
In an interview with public broadcaster Kossuth Rádió on Friday morning, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that Hungary must not return to the education system in place before 2010, adding that in his opinion the current government has chosen the right direction in this field.
Speaking in Tatabánya at the inauguration of the new Graboplast factory, which produces luxury-quality vinyl flooring, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that “The Government is supporting Hungarian capital and, bearing in mind the country’s size, the road to success leads through exports”.
On Wednesday afternoon Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski in Parliament. The Polish politician was on an official visit to Budapest to hold talks with his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó.

At a business forum in Jakarta, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán outlined business opportunities in Hungary to Indonesian businesspeople, saying that in political terms Hungary is the most stable country in Europe. The Prime Minister’s press chief Bertalan Havasi has announced that “Three-time Spartathlon- and two-time Ultrabalaton-winning long distance and ultramarathon runner Szilvia Lubics has been awarded the Hungarian Medal of Honour. The 41-year-old athlete was presented with the state decoration by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán”.
Viktor Orbán, the Prime Minister of Hungary is travelling to Indonesia for a three-day official visit on Saturday afternoon. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán believes that Hungarian-Bulgarian relations are based on mutual respect which is “a scarce commodity in Europe today”.
