At its meeting held on Saturday morning, the Operational Group’s border protection task force reviewed the technical details of stringent border protection measures, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video message posted on Facebook after the meeting of the task force.

The Prime Minister said in the interest of curbing the second wave “now knocking at our door” we must implement effective measures, and must primarily reduce the scope for the introduction of the virus into the country.

The border protection task force reviewed these technical details, Mr Orbán said, highlighting that if we combine forces as we did during the first wave of the epidemic, we will be able to curb the second wave of the epidemic as well.

“We are still in good time,” he said.
