On Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will be travelling to Bratislava, where he will be attending the summit of the heads of government of the Visegrád Group (V4) countries and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief, Bertalan Havasi said.

According to Mr. Havasi, the meeting will begin at midday in Bratislava Castle. Following the meeting, which is expected to last an hour to an hour-and-a-half, the parties will hold a joint international press conference on site, after which the prime ministers of the Visegrád Group countries will be holding separate talks, the head of the Prime Minister’s Press Office said.

According to preliminary plans, the main topics of the summit will include the European Union’s financial framework for the 2021-2027 period, the upcoming European Parliament elections, the future of the EU, and the European social changes that occurred 30 years ago.
