The leadership of the Christian Democrat international (CDI) is holding a session in Budapest on Friday, and on the eve of the conference Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received CDI President and former President of Columbia Andrés Pastrana Arangó in the Parliament Building, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief, Bertalan Havasi informed the kormany.hu government news portal.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will also be attending the session of the CDI Council in Budapest on Friday, and will be giving a speech at the organisation’s forum on interreligious dialogue.
The international organisation of centre-right parties was established in 1961, and Prime Minister Orbán currently serves as one of the CDI’s vice presidents.
