Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the European Commission’s Chief Negotiator on Brexit Michel Barnier met for talks in the Hungarian Parliament Building on Monday afternoon; the parties agreed that the unity of the European Union has been successfully preserved during the course of negotiations on the exit of Great Britain, Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister, Bertalan Havasi informed Hungarian news agency MTI.
Hungary, together with the other Central European member states, continues to support the preservation of unity and are assisting the EU Chief Negotiator’s efforts in this regard, it was stated at the meeting.
