Bertalan Havasi, Head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, has informed kormany.hu that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ali Tajebnia have held talks on economic and energy cooperation between Iran and Hungary, as well as the investments of the two countries’ companies.
During the meeting – which was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó – the decisions made at Tuesday’s meeting of the Hungarian-Iranian mixed economic committee in Budapest have also been reaffirmed.
Mr. Havasi added that the financing side of Hungarian-Iranian economic programmes has been highlighted: the improvement of interbank lending cooperation and making import permits more flexible.
