The Prime Minister’s Press Chief Bertalan Havasi has informed Hungarian news agency MTI that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held talks with the directors of Rosatom in Budapest’s Parliament Building on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the meeting was also attended by Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office János Lázár and Minister without Portfolio for the Paks expansion János Süli, and by CEO of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev and Kirill Komarov, Rosatom’s First Deputy Director General for Corporate Development and International Business.

At the meeting the parties reviewed the status of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant expansion project and discussed the tasks to be performed in the period ahead, Mr. Havasi stated.
