Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has discharged the Director General of the Constitution Protection Office, with effect from 31 March.
As stated in the government resolution published in Monday’s issue of the Hungarian Official Journal, the Prime Minister has discharged Brigadier General László Göbölös from his post of Director General, upon the advice of the Minister for the Civilian National Security Service.
According to the institution’s website, Brigadier General Göbölös was appointed Director General of the Constitution Protection Office on 1 July 2012, after having already carried out the tasks of Director General since 20 December 2011.
