Speaking from the Chinese capital, Bertalan Havasi, head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister, told Hungarian news agency MTI that “At a meeting in Beijing on Friday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his Mongolian counterpart Jargaltulga Erdenebat discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of water management, the pharmaceutical industry and sport”.
The two prime ministers are in Beijing to attend the “One Belt, One Road” international cooperation forum, which will begin on Sunday, with 28 heads of state and government in attendance.
Reporting on the Hungarian-Mongolian prime ministerial meeting, Mr. Havasi also said that Mr. Orbán and the Mongolian prime minister had discussed the scholarship programme between the two countries, and had stressed the importance of Hungarian and Mongolian students attending institutions of higher education in each other’s countries.
