Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Hong Kong’s Financial Secretary John Tsang met in Hungary’s Parliament building to discuss economic cooperation with Asia, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief Bertalan Havasi told kormany.hu.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga were also present at the meeting. Topics of discussion included access to Asian markets for Hungarian enterprises, including concrete business opportunities in Hong Kong, the Press Chief said.

According to Mr. Havasi, the representatives of the Hungarian Government informed the Hong Kong Financial Secretary with regard to the fact that Hungary is also an excellent investment destination for Asian enterprises, thanks to its geographical position, excellent infrastructure and highly qualified workforce.
