Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has said that the “Stop Soros” legislative package and the draft amendment to the Constitution will be submitted to Parliament as soon as the new Hungarian government is formed and has conducted its first Cabinet meeting.
On his official visit to Warsaw, in answer to a question Mr. Orbán said that the Stop Soros legislative package was one of the most important issues in the recent Hungarian election, the Government pledged to see it enacted, and this is what the Hungarian people voted for. “We shall deliver on what we promised”, he stated.
The Prime Minister said that at the end of last week he completed some technical work with his ministers, and they compiled the proposed amendment to the Constitution and the content elements of the Stop Soros legislative package.
