At the invitation of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (RMDSZ), Prime Minister-Fidesz President Viktor Orbán will go on a two-day tour of Transylvania, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief and RMDSZ, the organiser of the programmes informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
On 8 May Mr Orbán will have talks with the leaders of the Alliance and municipality councillors about the European parliamentary elections.
On 10 May he will inaugurate Romania’s largest feed mixing plant in Kerelőszentpál, and will pay a visit to the Szeklerland Ice Hockey Academy.
On Wednesday afternoon in Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca), the Prime Minister and Hunor Kelemen, President of RMDSZ will hold a press conference regarding the status of preparations for the EP elections, the information document released by RMDSZ reads.
Mr Havasi added that on 9 May Mr Orbán will attend a summit of the European Council to be held in Nagyszeben (Sibiu).
