On Sunday afternoon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will travel to Bled, Slovenia where he will attend the 15th Bled Strategic Forum, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
He said this year’s conference to be attended by heads of state and government from a number of countries will focus on the challenges and opportunities in the post-Covid-19 world and Brexit.
The forum to be conducted on Monday morning in English will be attended in person – in addition to Mr Orbán – by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, as well as online by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva. The attendees will exchange views on neighbourhood, regional and global affairs.
The press chief added that events of the Bled forum will be streamed live at the http://bledstrategicforum.org website.
According to Mr Havasi’s information, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will also conduct bilateral talks with the Czech, Croatian and Slovenian prime ministers, as well as with representatives of the Hungarian community in Slovenia.
