On his Facebook account Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said thank you to the members of the Hungarian men’s short track speed skating relay team for the historic gold medal they won at the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games.

“Grateful for living to see this day! Go Hungarians!”, the Prime Minister wrote on his social media account. He also sent his comment on the welcome news to the sports channel m4sport.

The relay team comprised of Shaoang Liu, Shaolin Sándor Liu, Viktor Knoch and Csaba Burján won Hungary’s 177th Olympic gold medal, but the first one at the Winter Olympic Games.
