On Sunday evening, on the eve of the fifth summit of the Serbian and Hungarian governments which will be held in Szabadka (Subotica), in Vojvodina on this occasion, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic received Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at a working dinner.

Mr Orbán and Mr Vucic had talks in the company of the two countries’ foreign ministers, Péter Szijjártó and Ivica Dacic in the settlement of Palics (Palic).

On Monday morning Mr Orbán will have talks with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, and simultaneously with this meeting ministers of the two countries will also have talks regarding their respective fields. These will be followed by a plenary meeting of the governments of Hungary and Serbia, and agreements will be signed regarding, inter alia, the development of infrastructure links, the modernisation of the Szeged-Szabadka railway line, cooperation in the area of European integration, cooperation in water management and defence, and technical assistance to be provided for Serbian law enforcement agencies.

The programme will conclude with a press conference of the Hungarian and Serbian Prime Ministers and a joint lunch in Szabadka.
