Prime Minister Viktor Orbán expressed his friendly greetings and best wishes to Prime Minister Li Keqiang on the occasion of the national holiday of the People’s Republic of China, the 71st anniversary of the founding of the country.

In his message, Mr Orbán wrote he is convinced that the deep friendship between the two countries has stood the test of time, and despite the challenges caused by the changed international environment, it rests on firm foundations.

He said he is happy to acknowledge that the comprehensive strategic Hungarian-Chinese partnership, the 17+1 cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative faithfully reflect the success of cooperation between Hungary and the People’s Republic of China going back many long years.

Our joint efforts manifested in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic have repeatedly testified to the friendship between our nations, the Hungarian Prime Minister wrote in conclusion.
