The recently established Strategic Cabinet of the Government has started its work by discussing thirty one agenda items.
The first session of the panel led by János Lázár was attended by ministers in charge of the discussed areas, thus rapporteurs present were Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog, Minister of Agriculture Sándor Fazekas, Minister of Interior Sándor Pintér and Minister of National Development Miklós Seszták.
Permanent members of the Strategic Cabinet include Minister of Justice László Trócsányi and Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga, while Antal Rogán, Head of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister is permanent guest to the Cabinet.
Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office János Lázár announced at the beginning of July that following Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s decision, the Government’s work will be divided into two Cabinets: an economic and a strategic one, both of which serve as decision-making and preparing organs.
Head of the Strategic Cabinet is Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office János Lázár, while the Economic Cabinet is led by Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga.
