Today the European Commission published its European Agenda on Migration aimed at tackling the issue of migration.
In accordance with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s reply to a question raised by the press, the Hungarian standpoint on the issue – which will be represented by the Prime Minister at the EU summit due at the end of June as well – will be established after a comprehensive parliamentary debate conducted parallel to the ongoing national consultation. Accordingly, the Government will forward the Commission’s package of proposals to the relevant parliamentary committee.
