According to the Minster of Justice, democracy includes listening to the people and the issue of immigration is so significant that the population of the country must be asked about it. This was how László Trócsányi reacted to the Prime Minister’s announcement on the launching of a referendum on Hungarian M1 television’s morning current affairs program.
At Wednesday’s session of the Public Education Roundtable, 100 experts made proposals on a total of 150 topics covering, amongst others, the 25 points put forward by the National Union of Teachers. In addition to the Public Education Roundtable, negotiations are also in progress with trade unions in accordance with the Labour Code, the results of which are expected to correspond with the work and findings of the Roundtable.
