The Government of Hungary welcomes the formation of South Sudan’s transitional government of national unity, which is an important step in the direction of gradual consolidation.
“The security of the Hungarian people is non-negotiable”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó declared on Wednesday in Prague following a meeting of Visegrád Group (V4) and Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers.
“There is a huge difference in importance between the government’s referendum on the compulsory resettlement quota and the MSZP’s proposal for a referendum on shops being close in Sundays”, Minister of State for Government Communication Bence Tuzson declared on Hungarian TV2 television’s Wednesday morning programme, “Mocha”.
According to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, the Hungarian government cannot be blackmailed on the quota issue.
The Government’s goal is that no one should be allowed to enter Europe illegally and migrants who are not truly in need of protection should not be allowed to set foot on the continent”, Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács declared.
The meeting of Foreign Ministers from the countries of Visegrád Group (V4) and Eastern Partnership continued on Wednesday with a plenary session.
