A 20-ear-old Pakistani man armed with a knife attacked a 19-year-old girl in Budapest, M1 Hungarian television reported on Saturday.
Police apprehended twenty-three Afghani citizens in Budapest on Saturday night; the foreigners were attempting to travel to Western Europe illegally.

In an interview with public television channel M1 on Thursday, Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács said that migration-related information at different ministries must be harmonised in order to enable Hungary to effectively represent its interests in Brussels. He was referring to the establishment of a working group on migration, announced by the Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office.
“The working group on migration will be tasked with summarising and preparing decisions on all aspects of migration, meaning it could also deal with the EU quota system, the Hungarian quota referendum and even Brexit”, the Government Spokesperson said on Hungarian public television on Monday.
“Migration will continue to pose the most serious challenge to Europe in future and accordingly Europe must protect itself from the effects of Brussels’ ludicrous migration policies”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in a telephone statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Thursday in summary of the statements made at the meeting of Central European Initiative (CEI) Foreign Ministers in Banja Luka, Bosnia-Hercegovina.
A working group on migration headed by Justice Minister László Trócsányi has been set up within the Government with the participation of the Ministry of Interior and the Prime Minister’s Office, in addition to the Ministry of Justice, János Lázár, the Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office announced at the press conference Governmentinfo 54 which he held jointly with Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács.
