Minister of Justice László Trócsányi sent a letter of condolence to His Excellency Roland Galharague, Ambassador of France to Budapest after the brutal attack on the editorial board of French weekly Charlie Hebdo.

The Ministry condemns most firmly those acts of hatred that threaten the basic values of our democratic culture. Minister Trócsányi expressed his solidarity in the fight against terrorism and offered his and his colleagues’ sympathy to the family members of the victims wishing quick and full recovery to the injured.

Parliamentary State Secretary Róbert Répássy and State Secretary Gergely Patyi participated at the commemorial event organised at the Institut Français of Budapest.
