“The Hungarians expect the Government to take action against illegal immigration, and this is why we have drawn up the ‘Stop Soros’ legislative package”, the Ministry of Justice’s parliamentary State Secretary said in an interview published on news portal Origo on 22 January. Pál Völner also spoke about the fact that the organisations funded by George Soros are encouraging Europe’s system of institutions to support mass migration and organised admittance, and to punish countries that are resisting, including Hungary.
“NGOs that organise or facilitate migration must register as organisations that are performing migration-related activities. If they fail to do so, the authorities will register them. In addition, they must also report on their activities of this nature”, the State Secretary said.
“People who provide financing are just as dangerous as the organisers, and accordingly the newly introduced immigration restraining orders, which would enable people to be banned from going within 8 kilometres of the Schengen border, and foreign citizens could be banned from the territory of Hungary is necessary, would also apply to them”, he added.
With relation to the second quota case, Mr. Völner said: “The main question is whether the Court of the European Union will come to a political or legal decision. The organisations and individuals funded by George Soros are encouraging the system of European institutions to support mass migration and organised admittance, and to punish countries that are resisting, including Hungary”. “The European Commission has applied a double standard once again. It has only launched proceedings against three countries, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, despite the fact that hardly any countries have fulfilled their quotas”, he added.
As a parliamentary candidate standing for election in Komárom-Esztergom County, Mr. Völner said: “The greatest achievement of recent years is the fact that instead of unemployment there is now a labour shortage”. “The new Danube Bridge at Komárom and the construction of the new bypass connecting Esztergom to the M1 motorway is good news for the whole region, in addition to which Esztergom’s flood protection system will also soon be completed”, he said.
