The Ministry of Justice has prepared the English and French translations of the texts of the Act on Pubic Administration Courts and the Act on the Coming into Force of the Act on Pubic Administration Courts and certain Transitional Regulations, which have been sent to the President of the Republic for signature.
The documents are available here.
In the interests of facilitating the official opinion requested in the name of the Hungarian Government with relation to public administration courts, Minister of Justice László Trócsányi has sent the translated texts of the pieces of legislation to the Venice Commission. To assure that the Council of Europe’s Commissioner for Human Rights doesn’t just acquire information from pieces of fake news, he has also sent the English and French translations to Dunja Mijatović and to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. The Ministry of Justice is committed to professional dialogue, and accordingly the translations have also been sent to the European Commission’s Commissioner for Justice, Věra Jourová.
The Ministry has not only published the translations on its website, but has also sent them to the ambassadors of European Union member states accredited to Budapest, and to Hungary’s European foreign representations.
The Ministry hopes that making the text of the Acts fully available will contribute to increasing the professional standard of opinion-forming with relation to the legislation.
