Minister of Justice László Trócsányi, Hungary's former Ambassador to France, participated in the commemoration of the 58th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution in Paris on 19 October.

On behalf of the Hungarian Government, Minister Trócsányi, accompanied by Chairman of the French-Hungarian Committee for the Commemoration of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution Jenő Sujánszky, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The national anthems of both Hungary and France were performed by a military band in the presence of more than two hundred people under the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
