Hungarian Minister of Justice László Trócsányi met with his Serbian counterpart, Minister Nikola Selaković, on the side-lines of the Hungarian-Serbian intergovernmental summit held in Budapest on 1 July.

Within the framework of the agreement on judicial cooperation signed in Belgrade on 4 May 2015, the parties reviewed the status of bilateral judicial relations, with special emphasis on Serbia’s EU accession process. Hungary is committed to supporting the European integration of Serbia, Minister Trócsányi stressed, pointing out that cooperation between the parties on issues relating to justice-related chapters 23 and 24 of the accession negotiations is both effective and uninterrupted.
