Developments in recent weeks have ascertained that the Hungarian Government’s policy concerning the management of the migration crisis situation is successful. It is coming to light increasingly that even those are beginning to admit this who formerly criticised it.
When the discourse regarding the situation is finally becoming increasingly more sober throughout Europe, it is not unusual that extreme forces levelling completely unfounded accusations no longer exercise any kind of discretion regarding the methods they resort to.
It is therefore hardly surprising that the online newspaper EUobserver, which is known to publish tendentious articles, presents the statements made by Justice Minister László Trócsányi at a conference held in Brussels on 19 October 2015 according to its very own interpretation.
The Minister spoke in favour of the implementation of the European Roma framework strategy approved during Hungary’s EU Presidency, and made no mention either of jihadists or Syria.
The Ministry of Justice regards this incident as a flagrant provocation, and will take legal action if necessary.
