“Over 75 thousand families, meaning at least 300 thousand people, have been able to move into a better and more appealing home thanks to the home creation programme (CSOK)”, the Ministry of Human Capacities’ Minister of State for Family and Youth Affairs said on Hungarian M1 television’s Monday morning current affairs program.
Katalin Novák said that more and more people are gaining the opportunity to move into a better home thanks to the programme, the number of building permits issued in Hungary is increasing dynamically, and twice as many homes were completed last year than in 2016.
The Minister of State said the fact that, similarly to all other forms of family support, the home creation programme will be continuing next year is one of the greatest achievements of next year’s budget, and confirms the Government’s firm commitment to families within the 2019 budget.
Speaking on Kossuth Radio’s “180 Minutes” show, Ms. Novák pointed out that while previous socialist cabinets had reduced these types of funding, since 2010 the current administration has been doing everything possible to assist families in all areas.
