On national television channel M1 on Wednesday, Parliamentary Minister of State at the Ministry of Human Capacities Bence Rétvári said that actual data reveals that leaders in Brussels are basing their immigration policy on illusory ideas.
He said that recent Danish data has shown that only a small fraction of immigrants who have been in Denmark for four years and who have gone through every available integration program have actually been able to find employment. He said that 20 per cent of men and 5 per cent of women have been able to find a job.
“It is thus illusory to think that these people can quickly join the labour force and contribute to the growth of Europe’s GDP”, he said. He said that female immigrants in Sweden faced the same problem, as the majority could not find a job even after five years in the country.
