On Friday, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó held talks on bilateral relations with Minister of Defense of Georgia Tinatin Khidasheli.

Hungary is committed to supporting Georgia’s EU and NATO integration processes, which are especially important in terms of the stability of Europe’s eastern neighbourhood.

During the meeting, Mr. Szijjártó made it clear that Hungary is of the view that Georgia should immediately be granted European visa exemption, and is in support of Georgia joining NATO.
