“Global challenges and regional economic integration are leading to the development of a new world order in which Hungary wants to be one of the winners”, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at the opening of the 2nd Hungary-Latin America Forum.
“In addition to maintaining and developing traditional foreign trade relations, this also requires their diversification in both a southern and eastern direction. Hungary launched its policy of opening towards the south at the beginning of this year in the interests of developing economic relations with Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. As a result, amongst others, Hungarian exports to Latin America increased by 18% during the first half of 2015”, Minister Szijjártó said.
