Foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group (Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland) will meet in Prague on Monday. Foreign minister of Luxembourg, current presiding member state of the EU will also attend at the meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade informed national news agency MTI.
President of the European Council Donald Tusk called for an extraordinary EU summit to discuss the refugee crisis on Thursday.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó will travel to Turkey on Tuesday to present the Hungarian Government’s proposal, according to which the EU should take over the funding of refugee camps in Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon.
