Today, only few days after the new President of the Republic of Korea, Moon Jae-in assumed office, North Korea carried out a ballistic missile test.
Even closer international coordination and active steps are needed to curb the risk posed by North Korea which directly threatens the territory of our partners in the region. As Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó reaffirmed to the Ambassador of the Republic of Koea in Budapest: Hungary continues to support the international community as it joins forces to stop North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missile programmes and calls on all states to increase their activity in order to achieve this aim.
