This year’s Biofach in Nuremberg, which has a 28-year history and is Europe’s most important organic products expo, was visited by 50 thousand people from 134 countries, who viewed the stands of 2785 exhibitors from 88 countries. The Hungarian National Stand organised by the Agricultural Marketing Centre (AMC), also performed outstandingly at the event, which was held from 15-18 February.

A large number of guests visited the Hungarian community stand, thanks to the popular products showcased there, the reliable Hungarian partners and the stand’s high quality, attractive appearance. Most Hungarian exhibitors had already been involved in previous Biofach expos and closed the four-day series of business meetings successfully, generating heightened interests in their products: exhibitors reported on 50-100 enquiries and negotiations, which could give rise to future partnership agreements.

The Hungarian exhibitors all regard the organisational support provided by the AMC as essential to their successful appearance. New participants also indicted that they would like to take part in the next Biofach expo.

At last year’s Biofach, 2315 exhibitors showcased their products on some 88 500 square metres. The expo attracted over 48 500 business visitors and hosted 116 conferences with over 7000 participants.
