The Ministry of Agriculture’s Minister of State for Public Administration, Andrea Gulyás, concluded a framework agreement on land management cooperation with China’s Deputy Minister for Land and Resource Management Wang Guanghua in Budapest.

At the meeting that preceded the signing of the agreement, Ms. Gulyás highlighted the fact that Hungarian and Chinese institutions have developed a close cooperation recently, thanks to the fact that Hungary’s “Eastern Opening” strategy and China’s “Belt and Road” policy are in harmony with each other.

Hungary was the first country in Europe to sign the memorandum of understanding on involvement in the Chinese Silk Road Economic Area and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road initiatives, she added.

The latest agreement enables the sharing of experience and the organisation of training programmes and conferences within the fields of, amongst others, land use and land development, property records and land-related public administration tasks.
