According to the Government Spokesperson, the official opinion issued by the European Commissions on Thursday is equal to another confession.
At his press conference in Budapest on Thursday, István Hollik said in reaction to the official opinion that the Commission has once again confirmed its plans with relation to resettlement, and that the European Parliament has voted in favour of migrant visas, and also that it is giving migrants prepaid debit cards.
“The opinion also clearly states that the Commission wants to provide opportunities for legal migration”, Mr. Hollik continued.
According to the Government Spokesperson, these proposals point in a single direction: They want to encourage immigration into Europe, which is something that the Government is against, because it regards it as dangerous. “The Government is insisting that every Hungarian must be made aware of these plans”, he added.
In reply to a question, Mr. Hollik confirmed the press reports by Hungarian daily Népszava according to which Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office Gergely Gulyás and President of the Fidesz party foundation Zoltán Balog visited Berlin. According to the Government Spokesperson, they held talks on Hungarian-German relations with the new Chairman of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in view of the upcoming anniversary of the pan-European picnic and the induction of the new Chairman. “The talks were long and were conducted in good spirits”, Mr. Hollik added.
