On Wednesday in Brussels Minister of State for International Communication and Relations Zoltán Kovács offered his condolences to relatives of the victims of last night’s shooting in Brussels. At the same time, he highlighted the attack clearly demonstrates that terrorism has moved into Europe together with migration.

The Hungarian government is not prepared to accept that terrorism, in the wake of mass migration, has become a part of everyday life in Europe, Zoltán Kovács stated at his brief press conference held outside the headquarters of the European Parliament (EP). He said “utterly disregarding the threats that are involved, the pro-migration majority seeks to institutionalise and to regulate immigration into Europe at any cost”. However, the government in Hungary will continue to prevent with any means necessary this “insane policy that has nothing whatsoever to do with reality”, he added. “We will not take part in the implementation of this pro-migration policy, we will draw attention to the threats and risks involved”, he said.
