On Thursday afternoon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will announce the measures which will be necessary in the effort to contain the coronavirus epidemic before the Easter holidays, the Minister of State for International Communication and Relations said in a video message on Wednesday.
In the video message recorded during a break of the cabinet meeting, Zoltán Kovács highlighted that, at the invitation of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, the meeting was also attended by Mayor of Budapest Gergely Karácsony and Károly Szita, President of the Alliance of County-Ranked Cities, who were invited to share their views regarding the situation and the necessary measures.
The Prime Minister will conduct further consultations; on Thursday, after the meeting of the Operational Group, Mr Orbán will also consult with virology and disease control experts, and will make a decision in the afternoon, the Minister of State added.
