According to Government Spokesperson Zoltán Kovács, family home creation allowance should be made more easily available; there is a need for changes that boost demand.
Mr. Kovács told Hungarian television channel M1 that when introducing the allowance, consideration was given to providing subsidies through state bodies, which have a “favourable and supportive” outlook.
The Government Spokesperson also said that Western Europe is trying to drive a wedge between the Visegrád 4 countries (V4), but cooperation between Eastern European states has never been stronger, and they are able to provide a real alternative to Western European approaches.
