“The Government will also be using television and radio advertisements to promote its Family Protection Action Plan beginning on Saturday”, the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister’s Parliamentary State Secretary said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Thursday.
Csaba Dömötör recalled that the Cabinet had decided to provide pre-natal funding to young married couples, in addition to which the Home Creation Scheme will be expanded and Childcare Allowance payments for grandparents are also being introduced.
In addition, the construction of day nurseries is continuing, parents could be exempt from paying part of their mortgage if they have children, and large families will also be receiving funding towards purchasing a new car.
“These measures mean everyday help for hundreds of thousands of Hungarian families, and for this reason we regard it as important that as many people as possible are informed of these new opportunities”, the State Secretary said.
“The measures also mirror the Government’s main fundamental principle, according to which instead of immigration, what is required is funding that targets families who are raising children”, he added.
